What drives the BPC-157 price
BPC-157 is a fifteen-residue linear peptide, Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val, with no disulfide bridge, no lipid chain and no unusual building blocks. That simplicity is why it is one of the most widely listed and keenly priced compounds in the UK market: standard Fmoc amino acids, a short assembly and a single purification run. The cost that remains sits mostly in the proline-rich stretch, where three consecutive prolines couple more slowly, and in the analytical release work each lot goes through. Because the molecule itself is inexpensive to build, packaging, testing and vial filling make up a larger share of the price than they do for long chains. That shows in the bands: a 10 mg vial usually costs only a little more than a 5 mg one, so the per-mg figure falls as the vial grows. With this many suppliers listing it, the median is a dependable reference for a fair UK market price.
